High Standards, Reliability and Flair
For years Showhome Presentations has been known for its consistently high standards, reliability and flair. Showhome Presentations was founded by Trish Cantwell in 2009 and over the last six years, the talented house staging team has worked its transformation magic on homes throughout the entire Auckland region.
Ask clients to tell you about their experience with this home staging team and you’ll hear words like responsible, easy to deal with, friendly, adaptable and efficient. Happy clients have made the following comments in the emails they have sent the team:
“their outstanding service, knowledge and expertise”
“eye for balance, proportion and colour”
“meticulous in the presentation, taking extra time to make sure that everything was immaculate”
“I would have no hesitation in recommending you to others”
“as I really think what you have done with this property is spectacular”.
Based in Manukau, the interior design team has worked closely with private vendors and real estate agencies from the North Shore and the Auckland city centre to the coastal eastern suburbs of Half Moon Bay, Howick and Beachlands to East Tamaki, Manurewa, Papatoetoe and as far south as Pukekohe and real estate agents who have recommended the home staging services of Showhome Presentations have said the following:
“The home has style, comfort and the ‘x-factor’ … I sold this property within a few weeks.”
“Myself and my ecstatic vendors cannot thank you enough! The difference a keen eye has to setting up and ‘staging’ a property, either a vacant one or an existing one is outstanding!! I can honestly say that the ‘difference’ is in exceptional photos, more enquiries, and the WOW factor that your work achieves, in bringing the buyers to the table on auction day!”

Sara will be working alongside Judy Dwyer who will remain with Showhome Presentations as the senior interior consultant. Judy has renovated and decorated many private homes, showcasing her natural sense of style, balance and colour and the entire team values her tremendous organisational abilities.
Based in Norman Spencer Road, Manukau, the team continues to produce outstanding work and this email from Christina demonstrates.
“Just wanted to let you know how thrilled I was with the staging you did for our home. …. When my agent recommended you we were happy to go along, and hoped that we would end up with each room looking better, but to be honest I didn’t expect you to be able to deliver that wow. But you and your ladies certainly did. It didn’t look staged – it was very homely but it had the wow and that meant that the photos looked stunning. I have no doubt that this contributed to the great sale price that we got in the weekend. It exceeded our expectations by $50,000. I would recommend you to anyone selling their home. You definitely get back anything that you invest in home staging. Thank you so much for your expertise and flair”.
New Team Members, New Eyes
Showhome Presentations can see your home not through the eyes of the people who live there, but from the perspective of a potential buyer. Home staging is about presenting your house so buyers can see themselves there instead of seeing other people’s things. It is necessary to emotionally detach yourself from your home; to survey it inside and out and to see it as a product instead of as the home you live in. In other words, use a buyer’s eyes.
When speaking to real estate agents, by far the majority agreed that home improvements can help sell a home faster, and almost three-quarters of agents felt the right home improvements could lift the sales price. However, lives are busy and most of us have neither the time nor the money to do all the home improvements required in the time available. So how can you best get your home ready to sell?
Home Decorating and Home Staging
Don’t confuse decorating with home staging. While many people think that a home stager’s job is just to be a glorified interior decorator, home staging involves a great deal more. While a home stager does of course make a home look good, a stager’s job typically begins with the much less glamorous task of putting together list of the most important repair and maintenance sellers need to carry out prior to going to market. The list will guide and direct to where time and money can be invested to get best results.
If your house is not given attention, buyers are going to notice right away; they’ll take a cursory look and be out of there in two minutes.
Some actions can have a big impact on a buyer’s perception of your home and cost very little. The next job on the Showhome Presentation consultant’s list will be to start decluttering your house.
You can call on this team for home staging Auckland wide and they’ll be there when you need them.
